Updated: May 9, 2026
Anyone may challenge a published TVP mark price or TVP Score with cited evidence.
How to submit
Email [email protected] with:
- The specific read being challenged (link, screenshot, or read ID)
- Your evidence (cited comparable transactions, source venue, dates)
- The specific axis or axes you believe are mis-scored, or the price level you believe is wrong
- Your name or handle (will appear in the public log if your challenge is resolved with a methodology change)
Triage cadence
- Auto-acknowledged within 1 minute (templated)
- Non-urgent challenges: triaged within 7 calendar days
- Catalyst-state challenges: triaged within 48 hours
- Methodology-amendment challenges: triaged within 14 calendar days, with public response in the next monthly methodology review
The operator triages challenges every Friday 7–9 PM CT. This is a published, non-negotiable weekly block.
Resolution outcomes
Each challenge resolves to one of:
- No Change — challenge reviewed, methodology held, evidence noted in private log
- Score Adjusted — TVP Score on the challenged read updated; original read marked CORRECTED per Rule 44
- Methodology Amended — a TVP Operating System rule is updated; published in the next monthly methodology review
Public log
The public log of resolved challenges opens June 1, 2026. Until then, all challenges are triaged privately and resolutions are emailed to submitters.
After June 1, 2026, this page will display:
- Challenge submission date
- Challenge summary
- Resolution date
- Resolution outcome
- Methodology amendment link (if applicable)
Challenger names appear in the public log only with explicit submitter permission.
Why this exists
Modeled on Bloomberg's BVAL price-challenge process. The challenge channel is the structural mechanism that establishes TVP's “bona fide publication” status under Lowe v. SEC. Without an open challenge channel, the publication is not bona fide. With one, TVP is.
Questions about the challenge process
Email [email protected] for questions about the challenge process itself (not for individual challenges — those go to [email protected]).
